Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold NC Licensure or eligibility.
• Must meet Residency Licensure qualifications.
• Must hold or obtain EC Certification.
• Must have knowledge of curriculum.
• Must have knowledge of referral and placement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements an instructional plan compatible with curricular goals and students' IEP.
• Develops IEPs and uses diagnostics to update IEPs as needed.
• Provides direct special education instruction to identified students.
• Employs a variety of teaching methods and adapts materials as needed.
• Creates Classroom Management Plans.
• Monitors behavior and progress on IEP/BIP; records and reports.
