Ampersand Therapy in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Exceptional Children's Teacher/TVI for the 2026-2027 school year. The role provides specialized instruction to students with visual impairments and aligns IEPs.

You will conduct functional vision assessments, adapt materials into accessible formats, collaborate with families and districts, and support independence and assistive technology use. NC TVI licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC Professional Educator’s License in Visually Impaired or related EC Teaching area.
• Praxis Exam scheduled for NCDPI TVI license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment.
