• Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize issues.
• Collaborates with departments to develop production standards.
• Prepares inventory analysis and procurement orders.
• Designs facility layout and personnel requirements.
• Develops instruction manuals and process documentation.
• Ensures safe work processes and addresses safety concerns.
• Generates process reports.
• Participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program.
• Performs other related duties as required.

The Industrial Engineer's goal is to create or improve upon products, systems and designs to make them safer and more efficient. Industrial engineers will examine manufacturing processes to identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption, streamline production times, and minimize the use of resources while ensuring compliance with safety policies.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods will be a key skill for this role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering required

Experience: 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment

Travel: 10/25%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares inventory analysis and procurement purchase orders to address production needs.
• Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.
• Helps to develop instruction manuals, process documentation for production personnel.
• Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.
• Generates process reports.
• Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
