YO IT Consulting is seeking an Excel Expert for a remote contract role. You will apply your mastery of Excel to review, organize, and enhance complex workbooks used to train AI systems, focusing on high-quality inputs and clear documentation.

The ideal candidate has deep Excel skills, can create templates and dashboards, and can explain processes clearly in written and verbal form while working independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Experience developing Excel solutions for business operations or consulting environments.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex, non-financial business problems using Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to document processes, create instructional materials, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Experience with data analysis, scenario modeling, and workflow optimization in Excel.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and enhance complex Excel files relevant to business operations, strategy, and data analysis.
• Provide detailed feedback and examples of best practices in Excel for operational and consulting use cases (excluding finance).
• Design, document, and share templates or solutions that reflect expert knowledge for AI learning purposes.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to identify key workflows and operational challenges represented in Excel documents.
• Evaluate and simulate real-world business problems using advanced Excel features and formulas.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats, ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation.
• Contribute to the creation of data analysis case studies and operational scenarios leveraging Excel expertise.
