Excel Developer (Fully Remote, 6-12 Months Contract)

We are seeking an Excel expert proficient in complex spreadsheets and VBA programming. The role requires strong communication skills to engage with senior business leaders, understand their needs, and deliver effective solutions. Your primary focus will be maintaining and enhancing our Reserving models for Excel 365.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and address complex Excel spreadsheet requirements and issues from senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel models, including VBA scripting.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing spreadsheets for better performance.
• Integrate Excel models with other data sources and systems.
• Advise on best practices and potential rewrites for Excel 365 optimization.
• Ensure thorough testing and documentation of updates and modifications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Excel Developer.
• Expertise in advanced Excel functions, VBA programming, and data integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for discussing technical details with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Excel 365.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial modeling and reserving models.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools.
