Job Description

We are seeking an experienced .Net Excel-Microsoft Access Developer for a 12-month contract with a possibility of extension, located in St. Paul, MN. The role involves supporting planned migrations of Excel and Access applications, including documenting & designing functional requirements, technology recommendations, software development, unit testing, documentation, and deployment to Test, UAT, and production environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with VBA coding, Macros, Excel, and MS Access. Knowledge of the .Net framework, C#.net, Oracle, and TFS is also required to meet technical requirements.

• Application code development using Microsoft Excel and Access
• Maintaining current documentation supporting changes and development
• Transitioning developed applications to full-time client staff for ongoing support

The development team consists of 8 members with various skill sets, reporting to the Application Development Manager:

• MS Excel and MS Access development (2)
• C# .Net development (2)
• Business Intelligence Reporting (2)
• ECM (Oracle Web Center) (1)
• QA/Release Management (1)

The project involves supporting, developing, and implementing complex data-intensive Windows and web applications related to various mortgage loan programs, with a focus on compliance with state and federal housing programs.

Required Skills (pass/fail scoring):

• MS Access Development 2007 or higher – 6 years
• VBA – 6 years
• Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2012 – 1 year
• Multi-Family housing and compliance – 1 year
• Mortgage loan and/or banking experience – 2 years
