Job summary

FirstOption Workforce Solutions is seeking an Excel expert to analyze large datasets, build and troubleshoot complex spreadsheets, and prepare reports to support sales decisions. The role emphasizes XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and advanced formulas, with CRM and ERP coordination across departments. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Schedule: Mon-Thu 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Fri 7:00 AM–11:00 AM. Pay rate: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required, including working with large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and advanced formulas.
• Ability to collect, validate, and analyze information from multiple sources using Excel.
• Identify data discrepancies, troubleshoot formulas, and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; learn CRM and ERP systems.
• Professional communication and cross-department coordination.
• HS diploma or GED; an associate/bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Aerospace industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions including XLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot spreadsheets for reporting, orders, inventory, and data analysis.
• Analyze customer usage and consumption data to identify trends and insights.
• Prepare accurate reports and organize data to support business decisions.
• Process customer quotes and orders; keep CRM and ERP records up to date.
• Monitor order books, delivery updates, inventory levels, and part availability.
• Coordinate with Procurement to resolve delays, holds, and discrepancies.
• Maintain records and communicate updates to relevant teams.
• Provide administrative support to sales and customer service leadership as needed.

• Monitor customer order books, delivery updates, inventory levels, and part availability.
• Coordinate with Procurement to investigate and resolve part delays, holds, and order discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate important updates to the appropriate teams.
• Provide administrative support to sales and customer service leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential, including confidence working with complex spreadsheets and large datasets.
• Strong working knowledge of XLOOKUP, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and data analysis.
