Job summary

PURIS Corporation, Llc seeks an Excavator Operator- Trenching- Water, Sewer & Storm in Houston, TX. The role supports trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects under the direction of the Operations Manager.

You will operate and maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with crews to install liners and restore sites. The position requires CDL (preferred), strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Ability to work in extreme environments and confined spaces.
• Must be physically fit.
• Good communication and interaction skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments and assists mechanic in performing repairs on assigned equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed
• Repairs Manholes
• Fuses Pipe
• Sets up winches and connects hoses
• Assists with install of liner, operates inverter, cut liner
• Restoration and clean up
• Connects services
• Sets up equipment
• Utilizes all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

Experience and Qualifications:

• Incumbent must possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities. Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces. Position requires fit physical condition.
