Job summary

PURIS in Pasadena, TX is seeking an Operator to perform daily trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation under the direction of the Operations Manager. The role focuses on safe, efficient execution of field work and coordination with the crew.

Responsibilities include vehicle prep, equipment setup, site notices, manhole work, repairs, liner installation assistance, restoration, and strict adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the listed responsibilities.
• Must demonstrate good communication and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, reliable and able to follow orders on projects with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Ability to work in extreme environments and confined spaces; requires fit physical condition.

• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments; assists mechanic in repairs.
• Sets up trench jacks.
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed.
• Chips Manholes.
• Repairs Manholes.
• Fuses Pipe.
• Sets up winches and connects hoses.
• Assists with install of liner; operates inverter; cuts liner.
• Restoration and clean up.
• Connects services.
• Sets up equipment.
• Loads equipment.
• Uses all safety equipment and follows SOPs.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator will conduct all the daily activities associated with Trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner.

• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces. Position requires fit physical condition.
