Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand machine mechanics and hydraulics.
• Perform equipment inspections (lights, brakes, fluids).
• Maintain and service equipment, ensure cleanliness.
• Operate control levers for bucket movement.
• Prioritize safety during trenching and pipelaying.
• Understand soil types.
• Operate vehicles safely according to company policies.

Qualifications, Education, and Competencies

Qualifications: Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily; accommodations available for disabilities.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
