Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking a skilled equipment operator to excavate, move, and grade earth, and to erect structures or prepare surfaces. You will follow safety regulations and coordinate with crew members while operating bulldozers, loaders, and other heavy machinery on site.

The role requires performing manual tasks outdoors in various weather conditions, and maintaining awareness of ongoing site activities.

Formación

• Must understand work directions and communicate effectively with foremen, supervisor, and fellow employees.
• Able to work eight to ten hours per day outdoors in all types of weather.
• Physically capable of standing, kneeling, lifting up to 60 pounds, pulling, squatting, and walking.
• Maintains awareness of concurrent activities on the jobsite, and the operation of equipment and other workers.
• Willingness and ability to perform manual work.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and follow safety regulations.
• Avoid hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, workers, or falling objects.
• Operate attachments and controls to move earth and materials.
• Start and operate bulldozers, excavators, graders, or backhoes.
• Locate underground services prior to beginning work.
• Monitor operations to ensure health and safety standards.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities and signals.
• Repair and maintain equipment as needed.
• Keep records of material or equipment usage and issues.
