Job summary

Southland Holdings in El Paso, TX is seeking an Experienced Excavator Operator to support heavy civil projects including large-diameter pipe and associated dirt work.

You will operate excavators, maintain equipment, and work 50–60 hours per week on site in El Paso and Santa Teresa, NM, with health/dental/vision benefits and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators for large-diameter pipe projects.
• Documentation of related project experience.

• Dig pipe ditches in streets or open land, bench, slope, or pull boxes, and use street plates.
• Operate excavator in a variety of ground conditions and depths.
• Maintain equipment in good condition to achieve high production and safety standards.

Position

Experienced Excavator Operator – Equipment Operator – Excavator

Location: El Paso, TX / Santa Teresa, NM.

Southland Holdings, a leading heavy civil contractor specialized in large‑diameter open cut and tunneled water, sewer, and storm pipe projects ranging from 8" to 96" and associated dirt work and paving.

Responsibilities

• Dig pipe ditches in streets or open land, bench, slope, or pull boxes, and use street plates.
• Operate excavator in a variety of ground conditions and depths.
• Maintain equipment in good condition to achieve high production and safety standards.
• Work 5–6 days per week, 50–60 hours per week.
