Job summary

Gibraltar Fabrication, LLC in Santa Teresa, NM, is seeking a skilled equipment operator to safely operate excavators, loaders, dozers, and more on our construction projects.

You will inspect equipment, follow plans, work with crews, and maintain a clean, safe site while meeting project deadlines and safety requirements. Experience in heavy civil/site development is preferred, and a valid driver's license with equipment certifications is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Previous heavy equipment operating experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil, site development, excavation, or similar construction work strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and applicable equipment certifications preferred, where required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other equipment as assigned.

• Excavate, grade, load, backfill, compact, and move materials based on project needs.

• Assist with general site activities and support multiple crews as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow all company, project, and site-specific safety requirements.
