Job summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator in Culpeper, VA. The role involves operating power shovel setups with ½ cubic yard machines, staying safety-focused, and supporting a growing team.

The position requires 1–3 years of Excavator operating experience, knowledge of construction techniques, and OSHA regulations. DOT experience is a plus but not required; on-site work with variable hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade.
• Service and perform normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Operate on track or rubber-tired; may include gradall or wrist-o-twist type equipment.
• May complete minor repairs.
• Routine cleaning of equipment.
