Roto-Rooter, Long Island's trusted plumbing and drain cleaning provider, is seeking an Excavation Technician/Laborer to perform residential and commercial excavations that resolve plumbing issues.

The role covers work across Queens and Nassau counties, requires OSHA safety adherence, CDL if necessary, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. First-year pay ranges from $50,000 to $70,000, with comprehensive benefits and career paths.

Qualifications

• Hands-on excavation experience in residential and commercial settings.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle.
• Ability to obtain CDL within 90 days if needed.
• Willing to work nights and weekends on a flexible schedule.
• Experience with trenchless water/sewer/gas is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize safety per OSHA and company protocols.
• Interact with customers as needed.
• Perform excavation tasks and pipe repairs or new installations.
• Operate back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers and other machinery.
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Travel between job sites safely and timely.
