Job description

General Laborer

Compensation: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Job Location: All construction sites are in southern NH and within 30 minutes of our Bedford office.

Job Type: This is a full-time hourly position. Employees are eligible for regular benefits after 90 days, including:

Position Summary:

Summit Excavating is hiring full-time laborers for year-round work in the residential construction and excavation industry. This is a permanent position, not seasonal or tied to a specific project.

Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from job sites, be able to work in all weather conditions, and be willing to take on a variety of hands-on tasks. We seek hardworking, self-motivated individuals who want to grow their careers with a family-oriented company that values teamwork and a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities include:

• Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Standing and walking
• Bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Climbing
• Pushing and pulling
• Shoveling, raking, sweeping, etc.
• Using power tools
• Overhead work
• Repetitive motions
• Weather exposure

Previous experience required in at least one of the following:

• Trenching and excavation
• Pipe laying
• Grading using a laser
• Operating equipment such as rock trucks and loaders
