About the Role

You will be working on a road asphalt crew doing general labor and flagging of roadway traffic. Shifts may vary according to project demands and locations. Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts. Follow all company policies and procedures for safe working practices. Report problems to the Foreperson, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager. Adhere strictly to safety requirements outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Requirements

• Constant physical effort, including standing and sitting during an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and crouch as needed.
• Walk and climb on uneven surfaces of heavy equipment frequently.
• Lift at least 50 pounds regularly, carry 30 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Operate hand tools with manual dexterity.
• Maintain alertness to multiple activities on the construction site.
• Climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely.
