You will assist with residential and commercial sites, help with site prep, digging, trenching, and operate or learn to operate heavy equipment while maintaining a safety-focused, customer-friendly presence on job sites. Qualifications

• Experience in construction, excavation, landscaping, utilities, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Able to operate or learn to operate heavy machinery.
• Must lift 50+ pounds regularly and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Excavator with daily excavation and site prep.
• Operate or be trained to operate mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers and related equipment.
• Perform digging, trenching, grading, backfilling, and site cleanup.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Identify utilities and follow excavation safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and conduct basic inspections.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and stakeholders on job sites.
• Explain work performed and answer basic customer questions when appropriate.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support problem-solving in the field to improve efficiency.
