Job Summary

The Exams Office student employee will help answer phones, direct in-person visitors, check-in students, scan or deliver exams, assist in general notetaking tasks, help with text conversion projects, and requires attention to detail and high confidentiality.

Additional Information

Student Access and Accommodation Services is the designated office to provide accommodation services for students with disabilities and/or medical/mental health conditions.

Student employees are eligible to participate in the University’s 403(b) Plan. More information can be found here.

Pay Rate

$15/hour

Required Qualifications

All student employees in Dean of Students Office must maintain good academic (min. 2.0 cumulative GPA) and disciplinary standing from the point of application through term of employment. The employer will check status at the beginning and the end of each semester of employment.

Work Hours

10-12 hours per week.
Office hours are 8a.m. - 4:30p.m., Monday through Friday.
Work hours will be assigned between 8a.m. to 4:30p.m., Monday through Friday.
Additional hours may be available during final exam week and for commencement.

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
International students are restricted by their visa status to no more than 20 hours per week of on-campus employment when the university is in session but may work more when the university is not in session.
