Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences in San Diego is seeking an Ex-Vivo Research Associate to contribute to drug discovery programs targeting neurodegenerative diseases. The role requires hands-on experience with ex vivo tissue preparation and standard biochemical, cell and molecular biology techniques.

The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, day shift, for a 12-month contract with pay between $35 and $45 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with biochemical, cell and molecular biology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform ex vivo tissue processing and analyses.
• Assist with cell-based assays.
• Maintain meticulous records of samples and reagents inventory.
• Record detailed, accurate experimental protocols in the lab notebook.
• Communicate progress to team members regularly.
