Job summary

Vera Health is seeking a founder-experienced leader to join our high-output team as we scale from a handful of people to dozens. You will own high-leverage problems end-to-end, operating with urgency and ownership, just as you did building your own company.

You will work directly with the founders, shape Vera's trajectory, and build a team as the organization grows. This role requires relentless execution and a passion for meaningful healthcare impact.

• Exceptional execution speed: you ship, you don't just strategize.
• You're comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-changing environments.
• You have strong technical fluency (you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to speak the language).

The Role

We’re looking for former founders who’ve built something from nothing and want to do it again, alongside a high-output team already moving fast. You know what it means to wear every hat, operate with urgency, and push through ambiguity.

You won’t be slotted into a rigid function. You’ll work directly with the founders to identify the highest-leverage problems and own them end to end. This is close to the experience of building from zero, but with hundreds of thousands of users and traction already there.

How we work

Ship, then improve. We get things in front of users fast and let real feedback drive iteration. A feature in production teaches you more than a month of planning.

Own it completely. There's no handoff culture here. You take a problem and see it through, from first principles to production.

Always look out for the user. Every decision comes back to the clinician on the other end. If it doesn't make their day better, it doesn't ship.
