Job summary

A leading inspection and certification company is seeking Ex-Certified Inspectors in the USA. The role involves conducting inspections of explosion-proof electrical equipment and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards. Successful candidates will hold valid EX certifications and have substantial experience in hazardous environments. Flexible working hours and competitive pay rates ($50 - $60 per hour) are offered. This is an independent contractor position where hours aren’t guaranteed, requiring signing a subcontractor agreement.

Qualifications

• Valid EX inspection certification (e.g., IECEx, CoPC, CompEx EX01–EX04).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience inspecting electrical installations in hazardous locations.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC hazardous location requirements, OSHA regulations, NFPA 70.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of explosion-proof and intrinsically safe equipment.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain compliance documentation.
• Verify compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA regulations.
