Job summary

A leading certification company is seeking Ex-Certified Inspectors to perform inspections in hazardous locations throughout the USA. The ideal candidate will have valid EX certification and experience inspecting electrical installations. Responsibilities include verifying compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring safety policies are observed. This is an independent contractor role, offering flexible hours and competitive pay rates ranging from $50 to $60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience inspecting electrical installations in hazardous locations.
• Experience with classified areas (Class I, II, III; Division 1 & 2 / Zone 0, 1, 2).
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of explosion-proof and intrinsically safe equipment in hazardous locations.
• Verify compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain compliance documentation.
