A leading inspection and certification company is seeking qualified Ex-Certified Inspectors to conduct inspections of explosion-proof equipment in hazardous locations. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and have 3–5 years of experience in electrical inspections. Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience inspecting electrical installations in hazardous locations.
Experience with classified areas (Class I, II, III; Division 1 & 2 / Zone 0, 1, 2).
Experience with cable glands and conduit seals.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of explosion-proof and intrinsically safe equipment.
Verify compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA regulations.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain compliance documentation.
Skills
EX inspection certification
Knowledge of NEC hazardous location requirements
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Knowledge of NFPA 70
Ability to interpret electrical drawings
Experience with explosion-proof enclosures
Experience in oil & gas industry
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
