EW & UAS Systems Test Engineer

Job summary

SRC, a not-for-profit research and development company, is seeking an Integration & Test engineer to advance testing for EW and UAS technologies in defense and intelligence projects.

You will collaborate with cross-discipline teams to develop tests, execute automated and manual testing, and analyze data to validate system performance. A 2+ year background in systems integration and scripting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related fields.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with systems integration, test plans, and test procedures.
• Applied knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve technical challenges.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
• Experience with test automation software and development.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively work with on-site and distributed teams to support development of new products, including EW and UAS technologies.
• Develop and execute automated unit, integration, and regression tests across products for EW and UAS solutions.
• Assist with manual integration and regression tests where appropriate.
• Conduct engineering dry runs and formal customer testing on-site and off-site to validate performance of EW/UAS systems.
• Perform data analysis, support trade studies, and prepare test briefings on EW/UAS technologies.
