Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Test & Evaluation (T&E) Operations Analyst to plan, execute, and document tactical EW system testing for the AN/SLQ 32(V)6/7 variants across Navy ships and land facilities. The role involves hands-on participation at sea and pierside events, coordinating with engineers and government stakeholders, and delivering detailed performance analyses.

Travel up to 25% is required. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required; US citizenship is necessary for clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience testing tactical EW systems, preferably AN/SLQ-32 family.
• Navy shipboard operations or contractor experience.
• Strong written communication for documenting test outcomes and observations.

Responsibilities

• Support onboard T&E of AN/SLQ‑32(V)6/7 tactical EW systems during shipboard test events.
• Participate in T&E working groups, technical interchanges, and planning meetings to develop and refine test strategies and execution plans.
• Assist in developing and validating system and software requirements based on observed performance and test outcomes.
• Review Trouble Reports (TRs), identify issues, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure resolution paths are understood and documented.
• Support pierside testing and integration activities at Dahlgren, VA, Wallops Island, VA and Moorestown, NJ.
• Document findings, observations, and system behaviors; develop SITREPs for stakeholders.
• Contribute to training material and system familiarization content based on test results and feedback.
• Coordinate with ship crews, test teams, and EW system engineers to ensure test readiness and data collection.
