Job summary

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is hiring a Program Director for Electronic Warfare Systems in Goleta, CA (onsite preferred; other location options listed). You will lead a complex portfolio, drive program performance, engage with military and industry partners, and mentor a growing team across engineering, operations, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 14+ years' experience, or advanced degree with 12+ years.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance using EVMS, IMP/IMS, and risk management.
• DoD and/or international contracting experience (FMS/DCS).
• Active and transferable Secret security clearance required before start.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for execution of a complex portfolio of contracts with cost, schedule, technical, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Lead Integrated Product Teams and functional leads from multiple organizations.
• Mentor a growing team and promote disciplined program management.
• Develop product line growth strategies and pursue follow-on business.
• Manage the supply base and improve quality and on-time deliveries.
• Drive capture strategy, proposal development, negotiations, and contract award activities.
• Interface with customer community and manage relationships with US and international partners.
• Manage profit and loss, AOP, EACs, and scope control.
• Implement risk and opportunity processes to drive performance.
• Resolve conflicts, manage interdependencies, and conduct major reviews with customers.
• Provide clear communication to senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Some travel required (mostly domestic, minimal international).
