Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City is seeking a Manager, Systems Engineering to lead an EW/NGJ program team. You will guide technical execution, manage staff, and coordinate with program management and customers to deliver high-quality engineering products.

The role requires deep EW domain expertise, strong leadership, and a focus on architecture, requirements, and integration across the lifecycle from concept through deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or another relevant engineering or technical discipline with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or a Graduate degree with at least 10 years of experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical leadership or engineering management leading cross-disciplinary teams on complex EW/defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a systems engineering team supporting EW and NGJ program scope, including resource assignment and performance management.
• Provide systems engineering leadership across the EW lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, deployment, and sustainment.
• Coordinate withProgram Management, customers, and Chief Engineers to meet NGJ objectives, schedule, and contractual requirements.
• Develop system architectures and roadmaps for EW, RF, and airborne mission systems including NGJ modernization.
• Oversee risk management, verification planning, and cross-functional technical reviews.
