EW/SIGINT Threat Analyst

The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking an EW/SIGINT Threat Analyst to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide electronic warfare and signals threats, using your problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team on ongoing projects managed from the Communications Electronic Command Software Engineering Center’s Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support development software reprogramming requirements for the AN/APR-39 and AN/APR-48 Radar Signal Detection Systems (RSDS) onboard Army aviation platforms such as the UH-60 Blackhawk and AH-64 Apache helicopters.
  2. Analyze the Order of Battle (OB) and extract weapon system and emitter information to create a prioritized list of threats for reprogramming into MDS software.
  3. Develop MDS reprogramming and simulation requirements as a Threat Analysis Specification (TAS) to address emerging threats.
  4. Review test results against developmental MDS programming to ensure threat detection requirements from the TAS are met. Conduct Verification and Validation tests before release.
  5. Create aviator documentation such as Kneeboard Cards and Pertinent Notes for aircrew.
  6. Analyze new threats to aviators and write System Impact Messages detailing threat indications relevant to their ASE.
  7. Review intelligence briefings, reports, and issue papers produced by Service Production Centers.
Qualifications:
Required:
  1. Active DoD TS/SCI Level Clearance.
  2. Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred).
  3. At least 7 years of experience.
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  6. Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to independently conduct research and gather threat and intelligence data.
Desired:
  1. Prior military experience in Electronic Warfare, especially with air defense systems.
  2. Knowledge of intelligence data such as EWIR, CED, ELINT, and AFTTP.
  3. Experience with Electronic Warfare systems like the AN/APR-39 and AN/APR-48.
  4. Ability to quickly digest new technical information.
  5. Excellent time management skills.
  6. Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements based on customer feedback.
  7. Willingness to improve work efficiency and procedures.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $68,400 - $143,700 USD, influenced by location, experience, skills, and other factors. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, education, and time off. Learn more here.
