Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in healthcare support services, EVS, hospitality, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries or complaints from customers using designated engagement techniques.
• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms and ancillary areas according to procedures.
• Uses Bed Management and other department systems as directed.
• Replenishes supplies and handles bio-medical waste and soiled linen.
• Performs daily patient room cleaning to accommodate discharges/admissions.
• Follows infection prevention practices and PPE procedures.
• Operates UV disinfection machine as needed per policy.
• Maintains safety compliance and reports unsafe conditions.
• Assists in onboarding new EVS technicians as requested.
