Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd seeks an Environmental Service Technician I to maintain a clean, safe patient environment in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area. The role involves cleaning, disinfection and collaboration with clinical and non-clinical staff to support infection prevention and patient satisfaction.

The position is full-time, daytime hours with occasional weekend rotation. External applicants are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 distributed over one year.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• 1-2 years of Customer Service, Hospitality, and/or Environmental Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily duties to maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.
• Interact with patients, visitors and staff to support infection prevention and patient experience.
• Ensure timely room turns to support patient throughput per environmental hygiene standards.
