Baptist Health Floyd seeks an Environmental Service Technician I to maintain a clean, safe patient environment in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area. The role involves cleaning, disinfection and collaboration with clinical and non-clinical staff to support infection prevention and patient satisfaction.

The position is full-time, daytime hours with occasional weekend rotation. External applicants are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 distributed over one year.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• 1-2 years of Customer Service, Hospitality, and/or Environmental Services experience preferred.

The Environmental Service Technician I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuring timely room turns related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The environmental services technician, in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and patient experience.
