Eligible external applicants may receive a sign-on bonus distributed over one year. The EVS Tech works in a regional hospital setting, contributing to infection prevention and patient experience while supporting timely room turnover

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years of Customer Service experience
• 1-2 years of Hospitality experience preferred
• 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred

Full-Time, Days, rotates weekends *UP TO $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!* * distributed over one year, external applicants only* Baptist Health Floyd Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area The Environmental Service Technician I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuring timely room turns related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The environmental services technician, in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and patient experience.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age 1-2 years of Customer Service, 1-2 years of Hospitality, and/or 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
