Job summary

Stella Maris Inc. in Timonium, MD is seeking an EVS Technician for the 7a-3p shift to maintain clean, safe resident areas within our skilled nursing facility.

Daily cleaning of rooms and common areas is required, along with restrooms and trash removal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident/patient rooms, offices and public areas.
• Thoroughly cleans residents/patients’ rooms daily, including dusting, mopping and disinfecting surfaces.
• Cleans rest rooms on unit daily according to procedures.
• Cleans common areas on the unit, including nurse’s station, solarium, laundry and linen rooms.
• Empties trash from resident/patient rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities

Clean resident/patient rooms, offices and public areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Thoroughly cleans residents/patients’ rooms daily as assigned , to include dust mopping and wet mopping the floor, high dusting, low dusting, disinfecting of bed frames and wall spotting.
• Cleans all residents/patients’ and public rest rooms on unit on a daily basis according to dept. procedures.
• Cleans common areas on the unit, to include nurse’s station, solarium, laundry room and linen room. Wipes down lounge chairs throughout the unit.
• Cleans residents/patients’ rooms daily as assigned to include damp dusting, dust mopping and wet mopping of the floor, and emptying trash.
• Empties all trash from all residents/patients’ rooms and common areas.
