Job summary

Logan Health is seeking a dedicated PRN driver to support transportation and patient services across departments in the United States. The role requires attendance, ability to follow written and oral instructions, and a focus on timely paging response and safe equipment use.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of related experience, English proficiency, and a valid driver's license. A strong teamwork mindset and reliable transportation are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in the English language required.
  • Possess ability to follow written and oral instructions required.
  • Self motivated and possess ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse customer and coworker population required.
  • Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages preferred.
  • Possess knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices preferred.
  • To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position: Current Driver’s License required.
  • Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (e.g; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.).
  • In addition, personal vehicles used for LH business: State law minimum liability coverage limits required.

  • Exhibits working knowledge and correct usage of equipment and devices per assigned area(s).
  • Maintains equipment and resources appropriately and safely.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Follows confidentiality and safeguards for all patient and/or customer related information.
  • Responds to pages in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Performs job duties efficiently and per department procedure, protocol and in accordance with State of Montana laws and regulations, for assigned area(s).
  • Stocks assigned carts for appropriate departments in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Shift and Schedule

Shift: Variable (United States of America)

Schedule: PRN Status. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
