Job summary

Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking an EVS Technician II to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff. Full-time shift 3:00p-11:30p, with required weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfection, managing waste, maintaining floors and carpets, and supporting infection prevention initiatives per AORN guidelines. You will interact with patients and visitors and contribute to timely room turns.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Customer Service, Hospitality, and/or Environmental Services experience.
• Able to work every other weekend.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and disinfection per guidelines.
• Maintain hard floors, carpet and surfaces with appropriate equipment.
• Support infection prevention initiatives per organizational standards and AORN Guidelines.
• Ensure timely room turns to support patient throughput.
• Handle waste and supplies safely and efficiently.
