Responsibilities include routine cleaning, supporting infection prevention efforts, and ensuring timely room turnover to promote patient flow.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; however related experience is preferred.
• Customer service or hospitality experience is helpful.
• Training provided for EVS tasks and infection prevention protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and maintain patient rooms, common areas, and equipment according to healthcare standards.
• Perform occupied, discharge, and transfer room cleaning to support patient safety and room turnover.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and PPE protocols while handling waste and hazardous materials.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, carts, and supplies per department standards.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with training and mentoring new EVS team members as assigned.
• Complete required documentation accurately and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Attend department meetings and team activities to support patient experience and operational excellence.
