Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Assistant Manager to oversee daily sanitation operations at a long-term care facility. You will lead the environmental services team, train staff, and manage schedules and inventories to ensure top cleanliness standards.

You will also monitor infection control, enforce PPE safety, and communicate with residents and management to address needs and feedback. The role requires leadership and residency in the service area.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team.
• Experience in environmental services or facilities management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EVS Manager in overseeing daily operations of the environmental services team to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control measures.
• Effectively communicate with staff, residents, and facility management regarding operational needs and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies, including PPE usage.
• Perform quality inspections of cleaning tasks and provide feedback to team members.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, clients, residents, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
