Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant Manager to oversee cleaning and sanitation at a long-term care facility. The role focuses on leading the EVS team, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will train staff, monitor schedules, and coordinate with facility management to maintain safe, hygienic environments for residents and visitors. This is an on-site role requiring commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise environmental services staff to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards meet federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist EVS Manager in daily operations to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory.
• Conduct training on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control.
• Communicate with staff, residents, and facility management regarding operational needs and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with PPE usage and safety policies.
• Perform quality inspections and provide feedback to team members.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with supervisors, clients, residents, and guests.
