Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant Manager to oversee the sanitation services at a long-term care facility. You will help manage daily EVS operations, train staff, and ensure safety and infection control standards are met.

The role requires leadership, experience in environmental services or facilities, and strong communication skills. Local residency is required, and the position emphasizes quality inspections and collaboration with facility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EVS Manager in daily operations to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory.
• Conduct staff training on cleaning techniques, safety, and infection control.
• Communicate with staff, residents, and management regarding needs and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies including PPE use.
• Perform quality inspections and provide feedback to team members.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
