Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead infection prevention practices and maintain a clean, safe environment within our Wisconsin facilities. The role focuses on operational leadership, regulatory adherence, and continuous quality improvement across environmental services.

You will oversee staffing, workflow, training, and performance while driving patient- and staff-focused service quality.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2 years of experience in environmental services.
• BLS certification within 6 months (or as determined by leadership).
• Strong management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective infection prevention practices to provide a safe environment.
• Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and regulatory practices.
• Perform quality measuring, monitoring, and improvement initiatives to ensure services meet desired outcomes.
• Provide a consistent level of service in cleanliness and customer service.
• Foster positive relationships to sustain high internal customer satisfaction and reliable service.
• Drive operational outcomes aligned with site and system scope of service.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, and throughput to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Schedule and monitor daily staffing to demand and minimize waste.
• Coach on performance, conduct reviews, and manage staff morale and staffing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct and relevant laws.
