Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Resource Coordinator Environmental Services to lead staffing, scheduling, and daily operations within the EVS department. You will train staff, oversee performance, and ensure compliance with hospital standards and budgets.

You will coordinate with managers to optimize sanitation and inventory control, monitor productivity, and support department goals while adhering to NMH policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience scheduling and supervising Environmental Services staff.
• Familiarity with Kronos ATR and PeopleSoft systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and review EVS standards; plan work schedules and duties to ensure coverage.
• Supervise EVS staff and participate in interviews and training.
• Inspect facility conditions and manage space, inventory, and equipment.
• Coordinate with other departments and participate in staff meetings.
• Manage major projects, ordering supplies via Peoplesoft, and monitor costs.
