Job summary

The Summit Experience at Boyne Resorts seeks an Environmental Services Lead to guide the EVS team across base area facilities, ensuring clean plazas, lodges, and restrooms meet guest expectations.

Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, you’ll mentor frontline staff, coordinate custodial tasks, respond to safety concerns, and help raise service standards through hands‑on leadership and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong listening and practical problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive EVS operations and light building maintenance across the plaza, lodges, and restrooms.
• Keep the plaza guest‑ready by sweeping, picking up litter, and ensuring furniture and tables are clean and set.
• Check, empty, and maintain indoor and outdoor waste receptacles, sorting waste, recycling, and compost properly.
• Complete end‑of‑night cleaning of the dining rooms after service and assist with trash checks as needed.
• Respond quickly to slip/trip hazards and support snow removal on heavy snow days as part of one team.
• Adapt to shift schedules that may begin in late afternoon and continue until facilities are closed.
• Maintain custodial activities in accordance with safety requirements and protocols.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for teammates during shifts.
