Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. in the Bay Area is seeking two 1st Shift Environmental Services Managers to lead a healthcare team on 4am-2pm or 6am-4pm shifts.

You will oversee associates in Environmental Services and liaise with hospital departments to deliver top-quality service. Responsibilities include hiring and scheduling, staff assignments, QA and inventory control, staff training, coaching, and maintaining a sanitary, orderly environment while promoting Xanitos’ culture and performance goals.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination required unless exempt.
• HS diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Management experience in healthcare EVS preferred.
• Strong leadership and service/quality mindset.
• Proficient with Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection, interview candidates, schedule days off and vacations.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure staff orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to enable staff to perform at their best.
• Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment; promote Xanitos culture and goals.
