Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a dedicated full-time housekeeping associate to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment in line with Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting areas, proper waste disposal, and strict adherence to infection prevention practices. Shift is 2pm–10:30pm with rotating weekends; 40 hours weekly with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and ability to follow written instructions.
• Flexible schedule to meet department needs, including possible weekends.
• Professional housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Properly dispose of infectious waste and trash.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills per guidelines and standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices including PPE donning and doffing.
• Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas.
