Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform general cleaning tasks and maintain sanitary, safe facilities in line with hospital and Joint Commission standards.

The role operates 40 hours per week from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with rotating weekends, offering medical, dental, vision, and education assistance benefits. Appropriate training on infection prevention and PPE will be provided to ensure high-quality cleaning performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication to differentiate color-coded labels and/or chemicals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet department needs.
• Experience in professional housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas per department procedures.
• Handle and dispose of waste following Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices including PPE and hand hygiene.
• Maintain safety in work and storage areas per policy.
