Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking a full-time housekeeping associate to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment in accordance with Joint Commission standards.

You will work 40 hours weekly with shifts from 10:00 to 6:30 (two days) and 11:00 to 7:30 (three days), including every other weekend and holidays. Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfection, waste handling, and infection prevention practices to ensure a safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Professional housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Dispose of infectious waste and trash properly.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills per guidelines.
• Follow infection prevention practices including hand hygiene and PPE.
• Maintain clean storage areas following policies.
