Qualifications

• Requires 1-2 years of experience in environmental services.
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively.
• Ability to apply elementary math functions.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.
• Maintain a friendly and efficient service attitude toward customers, co-workers, and clients

Responsibilities

• Assists management at beginning and end of shift with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign out and sign in.
• Assists shift operation in preparation and delivery of supplies to meet employees' needs.
• May perform overall assessment of public restrooms and on-call rooms.
• Adheres to all departmental sanitation procedures.
• Reports all employee issues (safety, injuries, and disciplinary).
• Supervises staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
• Formulates action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies.
• Assists in employee training, coaching, and motivation.
• Maintains an accurate record-keeping system for quality control.
• Complies with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations.
