Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, MO seeks an Environmental Services Technician/Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean environment across patient rooms, nurse stations, lounges, and corridors. You will replenish supplies and report unsafe conditions to your supervisor, contributing to high-quality patient care.

The part-time schedule runs Fridays, some Saturdays/Sundays, and two days during off-weekend weeks, with a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm shift, a comprehensive orientation,

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• Preferred hospital EVS experience.
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, and lobby areas.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Replenish supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, and other disposable items.

Schedule

Schedule: Part-time - every Friday, every other Sat/Sun, and 2 days throughout the week on the off-weekend weeks

• 7am-3:30pm (6 days a pay period/in a 2 week span)

Compensation

Compensation: $19-$24.10 based on experience

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
