Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Floor Tech III for Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. The EVS Technician will perform deep cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and operate heavy-duty equipment to maintain a safe, healing environment for patients and staff.

Nights: Monday–Friday, 8pm–4:30am. This role requires reliable attendance, adherence to safety and infection control procedures, and the ability to interact with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Three years of healthcare EVS/hospital support experience.
• CHEST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning of floors, carpets, and surfaces.
• Operate heavy-duty floor care equipment.
• Maintain infection control and safety compliance.
• Transport waste, linens, and biohazard materials per regulations.
• Provide a clean, safe environment and respond to inquiries.
